Chris Geovanis has more than 20 years of experience as a public relations and communications professional in government, academia, business and the non-profit sector.
Geovanis’ background includes serving as a writer, researcher and spokesperson under five Cook County Board Presidents. She has worked as a script writer, photographer, development professional and reporter in radio and print for institutions that range from the Pacifica Radio Network to the University of Chicago. She has a strong background as an organizer and strategist for grassroots campaigns that tackle tough issues in the electoral sector, government and civil society, and she has a wealth of tactical knowhow in messaging to diverse constituencies and communities.
